Who are we?

Our company is run by a small team of professionals. William Fong Yan, a Doctoral Physicist who leads the team, has been in the diamond business since the mid-seventies. In his early days, William has spent eight years residing in Belgium where he learnt all about the diamond business and diamond manufacturing. This experience enables him to source the best diamonds possible for the company and its customers.

Lydia Chong, our chief jewellery designer, has been creating formidable designs since her teens. With exposure to the West and an admiration of the traditional Chinese culture, Lydia has created unique and stunning designs that blend with the character of the eventual owner of the masterpiece.

Apart from distributing and wholesaling diamonds across South East Asia, New Team Diamonds Ltd. also creates fine diamond jewellery for its elite clientele. With its office located at the heart of the business district in Hong Kong, New Team is always ready to provide the best service to its clients all over the world.

New Team has recently been appointed as the Distributor of Fatima Lopes Jewellery Collection in the Far East and will be interested to hear from companies who wish to carry the collection.
